Finding joy in the every day
Finding joy in the everyday is something I feel profoundly at my core. And it’s the smallest things that often bring me the deepest sense of joy that also gives me the feeling of “I’m ok”.
Feeling the fresh air on my face, feeling the sunshine on my back, taking a moment to pause and look around my room noticing the things I’ve done and places I’ve been and things I like and choose to keep in my space, how the warm air feels as I sip my cup of tea, seeing people laughing together, looking at the lights at night in my neighbourhood... all these things feel warm in my heart with gratitude in my soul for simply 𝓫𝓮𝓲𝓷𝓰.
Journaling these things, or taking time through the day to pause and feel joyful can help calm the nervous system and boost positive feelings of well-being.
