What do you need help with?

As a Counsellor and Somatic Therapist, I specialise in working with adoptees, people who are single and/or dating, people in new relationships, people going through major life changes (such as identity and existential transformations, career changes, lifestyle changes), and those who feel stuck or in a rut.

As a Therapeutic Guide, I offer reflective prompts to support your exploration of Self and personal goals. This may include improving your emotional intelligence (EQ), EQ in leadership, and personal growth through developing mindful practices and communication skills.

Our work together in these capacities may include:

What I do

I help people improve their communication and relationships at every level, in both professional and personal contexts.

As a trained counsellor, I guide people through the process that enables them to have more honest conversations with themselves and with those around them. This helps nurture healthy relationships - with the self, and with others - through improved communication. I work somatically, exploring how the body stores and recalls memories, stress and trauma, as and when appropriate for the person.

As a Therapeutic Guide (different to counselling) I offer guided reflective support to help you identify and achieve personal goals.

I am a trauma-informed yoga teacher having completed my training with The Yoga Impact Charity.

I am also a certified meditation teacher, helping people learn how to meditate with a simple ‘Being technique’ designed by 1 Giant Mind to release stress and fatigue from their body, mind, and spirit. 

As a communications consultant, I have a background in public relations with specialist skills in stakeholder engagement, social media, issues management, brand and reputation management. My experience involves a dynamic history of strategic communications, creative strategy, storytelling, content and copywriting, community and stakeholder engagement, social media training, and communications consultation across a broad plane of industries and sectors.

Private Practice: Potts Point NSW

My private practice is in Potts Point, Sydney, or we can work online via zoom.

I work with people to build felt Sense of Self through somatic practices and talk therapy. I am also a certified yoga and meditation teacher and can bring these practices into our work together if it’s of interest and helpful.

I work with people navigating major life changes, people who are single and dating, single on purpose, people navigating challenging relationships, and those feeling a stuckness they want to understand and move through.

Working with adoptees is a specialist focus that draws on my lived experience of adoption. I also facilitate a monthly peer group online meet-up for adoptees.

I work with people who identify as LGBTQIA+, people who work in the sex industry, and those seeking to understand repetitive self-soothing behaviours like drug and alcohol use.

For those who are feeling well and looking to deepen relationships - with Self and others - this can be a good time to engage in therapy to explore your embodied experience of Self, and reflect on what’s next in the growth journey.

I have also developed a program for conscious and intentional dating suitable for those looking for more structured support instead of, or to support, counselling.
