How are you talking to yourself today?

Do you notice how you engage with yourself - the conversations and messages you tell yourself? The language and tone you use? How you are with your own heart - are you compassionate, or critical?

It's so easy to be our own worst critic and super harsh with ourselves. Making friends with yourself is a process based in compassion, love, forgiveness and acceptance.

When are you kind to yourself? When are you un-kind? And why?

Take a moment today to describe what you’re feeling, and notice the thoughts you’re having connected to this feeling. If you’re not sure what you’re feeling, your thoughts can give you a clue about this. Accept whatever you are feeling – all your emotions are valid and totally fine to have.

Make note of the last time you were kind to yourself. What happened? How did it feel emotionally? How did it feel physically?

When was the last time you were forgiving and compassionate with yourself? What happened? How did it feel emotionally? How did it feel physically?

Our relationship with ourself is the most important relationship you can have.

If you have stuff that feels icky, or stuck, when it comes to how and what you feel about yourself, get in touch and we can work through it together.
